Wet Week Good Week

How Consistent (These Downpour Will Make All Of Us Sick)
It has been raining this entire week but it is, nonetheless, still a good and  s h o r t  week. For me, even longer. Was on mc on Monday and Tues, had a half day on Wed, and Friday a public holiday. How shiok is that right..

Steph and I had a great dinner on Thursday night at the Spanish restaurant her chef friend Maya is working for. I went back to my auntie's place on Friday and Saturday Foursome had mahjong at Leying's house. Met up with Gajan and the rest of the boys on Sunday afternoon and I dropped by Jes's house later on that night. I have fully utilised my long weekend. Hah.

How We Wish We Were All Richer
Several cool stuffs that are worthy for a blog mention.

1// HARD GRAFT is back with a new collection of the most awesome laptop, iPod, phone cases and many more.

2// ALLSAINTS SPITALFIELDS is a clothing line I really like right now. I naively believe that I can fly and have some other supernatural powers and I can definitely save the world and bring economic crisis to an end (I don't know how it'll work), only if I have a wardrobe of it.

3// GRAVITY RECLINING CHAIR BY VARIER really makes me want to have my own home, where I can start a collection of clever furnitures and travel finds.

4// HOTELICOPTER is the world's very first flying hotel. FLYING HOTEL. How cool is that.

After having your eyes glued to the video, I'm sure this brilliant concept is getting you all hyped up right? What an awesome experience it will be. But guess what, this is actually only a viral campaign for Yotel Airport Hotels..

And Then There Were Four
Several months back last year, I moved back to my Dad's place, which brings the number down to 7. And in December, our pet hamster Christmas rose to heaven, and that makes it 6. Two days back was Prisca's last day working for my Aunty's house, which brought the number down to 5...

Today, the head count in my aunty's household is 4, as the atrociously pampered bimbo dog moved to my Dad's place to stay on subsequent weekdays so that my Grandma, Dad and the rest can take care of her.

Weekend Back At Aunty's

I'm starting off this entry with no idea of what to say at all. Have prepared a few pictures though.

I had another good talking session last night with my aunty, when all our lights were off and we're all sitting around candles on the dining table. It's been a busy week in camp, and the gang managed to spend some time together at Timbre on Friday. They serve our favourite pizzas which comes with good live music.

I've finally decided to study oversea after my ORD. Figured that I still very much like what I did in school and there's nothing else I can do better to make a living. And I think education is really very important, it is a luxury too, and I will definitely regret if I don't go make this happen. I'm at the stage of researching for schools, which I have a few in mind already, next will be scholarship programs or financial schemes.

I like this video very much, please watch it. It's about communication and it is really brilliantly written.

I've completed Bomberman, and downloaded a few other classic games! Two of which are The Lion King and Jungle Book. Completed Lion King too within two nights! I love the feeling of playing old games that I've played back in primary school.

Day 7693 On Planet Earth

I wish I were smarter... cleverer with words... know the right thing to say at times, and be able to read minds. I'm too dumb for anything good. All these human's emotions are such nuisance.

C (x3)

Changes
I think every one of us has a phase at our rebellious age that some don't hope to be reminded of while some are proud of it. It is those friends that you've made back in secondary school who have watched you grow and mature out of it. Yea whatever emo, unstable mentalities, believes and dark thoughts, we've all grown out of it, left them far behind in our pad-locked closets, moved on and be responsible for our own lives. I too, have a particular time frame that I want to forget, especially when it involves your family. I've learned from that chapter.

I am very contented now. At 21, I can roughly see what I'll be doing for the rest of my life. I have awesome people around me and I've been fortunate enough to achieve what I hoped for. I backpacked across Europe with my camera, been to Japan thrice, and left my traces in many other great cities on the globe. Happy enough already.

Cool Stuff
Toilet cubicle reflections aside, I do have some cool things to share, hehehe. Below, an atrociously cool black bicycle, vintage video camera, and an absolutely clever ad on the ground floor of a shopping centre, and a video Steph posted on my facebook.

Childhood Memory
This is what I've been playing these few nights!

GoodMorning&OneDayAway

While my entire world is probably in their sweetest dreams (or more exciting for some, nightmares), I'm wide awake, at 3am, trying desperately to make myself yawn and get right back into sleep. I went straight to bed right after dinner at 7, and now I feel insomniac.

Well at least I'm thrown with an opportunity to think and reflect about many things. I think I'm blessed with a very good family. I think I really am not the sensitive kind of boyfriend and I want to change that. I also think that my 21st birthday is a really quiet one, some of my close friends are not celebrating for me :( and I probably may not even have a cake on the actual day itself cus I'll be far away on the streets in Tokyo with Steph and my camera.

I'm told that I'm the hardest person to get present for, and whenver people ask me what I want for my birthday or Christmas, I just can't provide them with an answer. Cus whatever I want/need I can get them myself, those that I can't are too expensive for me and probably my friends too. I do appreciate anything that comes from them.

I want an iPod Touch too... and a bicycle... and an acoustic guitar... and more vintage cameras... and an old school rectangular mic with mic stand... and a grammophone
that can still function... and posters of my most admired typefaces and design work...

Earlier on, I got infected by the 25 Random Things virus too, and posted a note on my facebook. (Here's the link) In fact, I wrote 50, here's the other half of the note:

26
____ I can't bend and touch my toes.
27
____ I get inspired by architecture.
28
____ I can't hold a beat when I clap.
29
____ I wanted to have my own photography exhibition before I graduate but it didn't happen.
30
____ I believe I'm an alien.
31
____ I'm the worst story teller.
32
____ I must eat with the same kind spoon and fork. Different colour also cannot.
33
____ I still have stage fright.
34
____ I once had a blond mohawk.
35
____ I never had any char quay tiao, prawn mee, hor fun, siew mai, dao suan in my entire life.
36
____ I'm allergic to alcohol and crustaceans.
37
____ I don't allow myself to get into bed with dirty feet.
38
____ I think I'm too short.
39
____ I can't play any instruments, and I admire those who are musically gifted.
40
____ I use to watch alot of Hong Kong TVB dramas cus they have the most convincing acting, most unexpected plots, and prettiest actresses.
41
____ I've already moved back to live with my Dad and grandma half a year ago.
42
____ My first aspiration was to be an astronault, at age 7.
43
____ Unlike the majority, I didn't smoke weeds during my stay in Amsterdam.
44
____ I breed fighting fish with my Dad when I was younger, and catch fish at longkangs too.
45
____ I learn chinese by learning to sing chinese songs.
46
____ I grew up eating McDonald's.
47____ I have a hideous handwriting and I can't write in a straight line.
48____ I hate filling up forms and particulars and going through such procedures are extreme hassles even if it takes only 5mins.
49____ I talk to objects and imagine conversations.
50____ I can play Mahjong.

:D

Sitze, Derek and CK had to be in camp.

My stomach's growling for McDonald's hotcakes.
